Look at this stuff, isn’t it neat? If you get way too excited adding thingabobs to your jewellery collection, and simultaneously can’t wait for the new live-action remake of Disney’s The Little Mermaid to drop, just know that the two worlds have collided in this new Pandora collection.
The Disney x Pandora The Little Mermaid collection, titled ‘Journey Beyond the Sea’, celebrates the new film that stars Halle Bailey as the beloved Ariel, set to be released in cinemas on 25th May. Similarly, the jewellery brand’s seven-piece collection launches on that date too, with styles that both pay homage to the Disney classic, while championing female empowerment and independence.
Soon to be part of your world are 14K gold-plated Seashell Stud Earrings, which ring in the under-the-sea theme with grooved lines and a white lacquered artificial pearl sitting luminously at the centre of each stud.
The other collector-worthy item would have to be the 14K gold-plated Shell Dangle Charm, which recalls the enchanted nautilus shell that held the Disney princess’ voice in the movie. This time though, it’s engraved with the empowering message “My voice is a treasure” on the spiral, as an ode to Ariel’s fearless spirit and sense of freedom.
