Pat McGrath Is Finally Releasing A Permanent Makeup Collection

After many rounds of sold-out limited edition collections, Pat McGrath is finally releasing a permanent makeup collection, aptly named the “Unlimited Edition”. This has got to be every makeup junkie’s dream come true. If you didn’t manage to get your hands on McGrath’s previous LUST: Matte Trance lipsticks, this upcoming collection will fill the hole in your heart with its extensive 61-piece makeup selection that includes lipsticks, lip pencils, eyeliners, mascara as well as eyeshadow palettes.
First up, the “Mothership” palettes which are available in three different themes – the Subliminal Eye Palette, Sublime Eye Palette, and Subversive Eye Palette, range from neutral browns, to warm pinkish hues, and of course not forgetting bold shimmery metallics. Each palette consists of 10 powder eyeshadows with a good mix of matte and glittery finishes. You will also find some hues familiar as they will be taken from previous releases, such as Gold 002 and Dark Star. Coming in the eye department as well are the PermaGel Ultra Glide Eye pencils which will be available in five different shades.

Moving on to the lips, the collection will also include 12 PermaGel Ultra Lip Pencils and 31 Luxe Trance lipsticks. The lipsticks are newly formulated to come off creamy and highly pigmented and will also feature nine existing shades from the Matte Trance lipstick collection. Fans will also be happy to know that the bullets will be housed in the same luxurious-looking black and gold tube with a gold lip motif used in the Matte Trance collection.

The artistry does not just end with the makeup. According to Fashionista, the boxes that stores the products are designed by creative talents found on social media, in her bid to “further deepen her commitment to serve as an incubator for new creative talent in fields beyond makeup artistry.” How can one not love this woman?

As usual, this collection didn’t just pop out of the blue. Like the Matte Trance lipsticks, this ultimate collection has been years in the making, created based on her knowledge and experience she acquired throughout her illustrious 25 years of working in the beauty industry, so you know what you’re getting is definitely the real deal.
Ranging from US$25 – US$125, the Pat McGrath Labs Unlimited Edition launches on 16 September 2017, 12am EST (same day 12pm SGT), on patmcgrath.com. It will also be available on Sephora.us on 4 October 2017.
