A household name amongst a long list of collaborators that has worked with Adidas, Sweden-based sneaker retailer, Sneakersnstuff, has yet again scored another exclusive collection with the brand with three stripes. This time, the duo has linked up to come up with an “EQT Materials” Pack, consisting of two tonal pairs of the EQT Support Ultra PK.
Inspired by the 1993 EQT Running Support shoes, this updated version sees the original silhouette fusing with modern and innovative adidas technologies, resulting in a premium one-piece primeknit upper, mounted on a full-length BOOST midsole. Coming in dark blue and white colourway options, the shoes bring onto the table a distinct Swedish aesthetic.
And this is made much more evident if you just take a look at the accompanying campaign created by Swedish design duo, Wang and Söderström.
In a very calming and therapeutic series of abstract visuals, the core materials used across the pack are brought to life using 3D animations and renderings, breaking down the components of the shoes to a macro level, focusing on the individual aspects of the shoe, such as the BOOST tech, primeknit construction, and other elements.
