Isn’t it weird that beauty brands are referencing sex in their product promotions, specifically mascaras and nothing else? Take Too Faced’s cult-favourite Better Than Sex Mascara, and now Urban Decay’s Troublemaker Mascara that claims to be sex-proof.
Last month, Urban Decay’s founder, Wendy Zomnir, took to social media to tease followers of the brand’s upcoming mascara launch, and just looking at its packaging, we knew trouble was brewing. How can anyone not get lured into buying the mascara when it is housed in an iridescent holographic tube? But it seems like the bottle is not the only reason to get all hyped up about. The mascara seems to do wonders to the lashes as well. If you shift your attention to Zomnir’s eyes in the teaser photo, you’ll see her lashes are looking full and voluminous even at the beach! How tho?!
The Troublemaker mascara is made of a failsafe formula that is infused with hollow silica and ultralight fibers that will volumize (13.7 times the lash volume to be exact) without forming clumps or weighing down your lashes, while the Vitamin E and Panthenol will nourish and condition those killer lashes.
In addition, you can rest assure that every single strand of lashes will be coated with their badass custom brush that comes with the mascara. Made with tiny precision hooks, the brush combs and separate lashes for an instant lash-multiplying effect.
In an Instagram post, the mascara is also described as super-fat, super-long, and sex-proof, which we’re guessing it means that it’s smudge-proof and sweat-proof so you know the mascara is here to stay even when you find yourself in a steaming hot mess, y’know what we mean?
Get yourself in trouble come October 26th, where the Troublemaker mascara is set to launch in Singapore, with the Troublemaker Mascara retailing islandwide at $38, while the travel sized tube will be made available exclusively at Sephora for $18.
