SK-II’s Facial Treatment Essence Gets A Kawaii Tokyo Girl Makeover

Every skincare addict has heard of SK-II’s famed PITERA™ Facial Treatment Essence. We’ve all gone from seeing it everywhere, to making room for it on our dressers, and most of us have either caved already, or we’re still waiting to make our first purchase. While it is a pretty big investment, the product that claims to work for every skin type has proven itself so far — we tried it for 6 days and saw visible results. If you’ve been on the fence of making your first purchase, SK-II’s latest limited edition bottles are probably adorable enough to convince you to take the leap.

Prior to the postponement of the 2020 Tokyo Olympics, SK-II had released two adorable editions of their cult favourite with the Japanese city as obvious inspiration — the Tokyo Girl Black and Pink Limited Edition Facial Treatment Essence. However, due to the unfortunate rescheduling of the event, the launch of this limited edition series is more subdued, though still available in Singapore.

The ultra-kawaii bottles are adorned with cartoon-faced caps, with the Black edition displaying a cheeky grin and the Pink edition topped with space buns. Also printed is the official Olympics logo — if the product and visuals aren’t enough, this is definitely a collector’s piece for any fan of the sporting event.

Seeing these two adorable faces on your vanity is sure to brighten anyone’s skincare routine — now on to crystal clear skin!

The Limited Edition Tokyo Girl SK-II Facial Treatment Essence retails at $300 and is available at Metro in a Black Edition and Pink Edition.
