LOEWE announces a new collaboration with On, a running shoe brand with Swiss engineering offering sneakers that have the experience of “running on clouds”. With LOEWE, they’ve designed a lifestyle shoe called the Cloudtilt; and it’s made to move. It’s On’s first shoe in its lifestyle range to incorporate CloudTec® Phase: a computer-generated midsole technology that offers cushioning with fewer components for a smooth, ultra-lightweight ride; plus Finite Element Analysis software simulates walking stress on the legs and feet, which translates to superior cushioning for the user.
The LOEWE x On Cloudtilt blends craft, technology, performance and sustainability; featuring a knitted sock construction, speed laces, and of course, the collaborative branding. The outer sole is made from EVA foam to provide a soft landing and minimise the use of rubber (which only features in targeted contact spots), and has an engineered mesh upper made from 99% recycled polyester.
