We don’t say this about most tech, but the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip5 is undoubtedly one of the most fashionable smartphone models we’ve come across. Sleek, and sleeker in fact thanks to an upgraded zero hinge gap design, with a bold and expanded 3.4″ Flex Window to make a stunning visual statement to boot, this is a foldable phone that’s just as fun to carry around, whether in the palm of our hand, or clipped onto the top of our bags or pockets.
An It-girl among a sea of blacks and neutrals, she dares to be dressed up in 8 gorgeous colours too, whether that’s a calming Blue, sunny Yellow, quirky Lavender, or industrial Gray; a colour to suit your personality, mood or vibe.
There is, of course, loads of functionality packed into this tiny number. Having a sized-up Flex Window means we’re able to access useful widgets and apps without having to flip open the phone, certainly useful, while we’re free to customise our Cover Screen by choosing a matching backdrop to go with our current aesthetic. While organising a “Back To The Flip” fashion show with Samsung back in July, we also loved how the FlexCam and Flex Window made it a breeze to snap high-definition selfies using the 12MP rear camera.
To best embody that quality of the fashion girlie, what better way to show off the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip5 than a fashion spread with Singaporean model, Asia’s Next Top Model alum, and NYLON Singapore cover girl, Layla Ong. Here’s we’ve paired up the smartphone with a slew of rockin’ fits, including a smart yet casual all-denim suit for the Blue-on-blue-on-blue tones (eyeshadow included), or pops of blue and red that bring out the cheery nature of the phone in Yellow.
