PUMA SUEDE's 50th Anniversary Means Year-Long Sneaker Collaborations

PUMA SUEDE Singapore celebrated its 50th anniversary two weeks ago with a pop-up right outside Robinsons, Heeren. We witnessed some locally customised sneakers by figureheads of their games — our editor-in-chief, Adele Chan, celebrity stylist David Gan, YouTuber Jian Hao Tan and social media influencer Calista Cuaca — each representative of their unique personalities. There were also free-flow drinks to get us pumped, as well as a pretty dope hip hop dance choreography by Old Skool.

More importantly, perhaps, we were reminded of the legacy of PUMA SUEDE, which have brought us some cult favourites across the troupes of MUSIC, FASHION, STREET and POP CULTURE like anime superhero Hello Kitty, London designer Sophia Webster and streetwear brand FUBU. That immediately prompted us to wonder, what other PUMA SUEDE releases have and/or are going to make it in 2018? Our finds were super exciting.
