OK, OK, OK, OK, OK, OK, you’re going to like this one. In the summer of 2017, Tyler, the Creator partnered with Converse to design and launch a reinterpreted Converse One Star. Now, the collection can be easily recognised from the flower design on the shoes. At times, the shoes take on a pastel and more colourful approach. Other times, the shoes are made of muted tones.

However, for the first time ever, this collaboration sees a Chuck 70 capsule in burlap and vintage parchment canvas. With an asymmetrical Golf Le Fleur print on the Chuck 70, it is definitely a cute pair, and great for any outfit. Puma RS-X Reinvention

Like always, retro is in. And PUMA has raised the bar even higher with the reinvention of the Running System (RS). The RS-X features an exaggerated bulkiness, along with bold colour-blocking and material mixes.

The shoe is a mash-up of leather and suede, with embossed textile. It is pretty not only on the outside, but also on the inside. PUMA is partnering with Mattel, Hot Wheels, Hasbro and Motorola to bring us out-of-the-world collabs. We absolutely can’t wait.

Puma Transformers

Following the launch of the RS-X Reinvention, PUMA’s latest collab with Hasbro has been unveiled, and it is a Transformers-themed collection. For those who have watched Transformers since it first aired in 1984, the PUMA x Transformers capsule will bring back memories from our childhood.

The two iconic Autobots, Bumblebee and Optimus Prime, have been reimagined into PUMA’s latest RS-X. Choose between Bumblebee in Quiet Shade/Cyber Yellow and Optimus Prime in Dazzling Blue/High Risk Red. The Transformers Autobot symbol is also featured on the shoe. Wait, that’s not all. Puma x Outlaw Moscow

Are you familiar with Outlaw Moscow? Focusing on the unique fashion style culture in Moscow, Outlaw produces clothes that doesn’t conform to the masses. And now, they’re back with another collab with Puma!

The first collection is named Diversity. And this second one is called Freedom. It spreads a message of the new generation of Russians that want to obtain peace and freedom. Two brandings (AYTΛO & ПYMA) are plastered all over the collection — a phonetic transcription of “Outlaw” and “PUMA” in Cyrillic.

A key style from the range is the AVID Rugged Graph Outlaw. It is a mid-cut boot with illustrations of Moscow’s satellite image. As if it can’t get any cooler, the boot takes on a military vibe, with a fore-foot harness, buckles and side zippers. The boot is fitted with a neoprene upper, leather, and rubberised overlays. Who says you can’t be stylish and comfortable at the same time?

Puma Suede 50 x Staple

We’ve talked about the clean-cuts, the chunky shoes, and the unique. Let’s talk about the iridescent now. In collaboration with Staple Pigeon’s Jeff Staple, Puma has released the Suede x Staple Pigeon. With a frost gray suede upper, grey laces, pony hair heels and an ombre foil, this shoe is cute and unique, albeit weird.

The reflective foil contrasts the dull grey colour, indeed making the shoe look like a pigeon.

Toys. We have been loving them since we were little. And just because we have stopped playing with them, doesn’t mean that we can’t wear them on our feet. With bright colourways and chunky bodies, these shoes are perfect for Throwback Thursday.

ASICS x Kiko Kostadinov: The Gel-Delva

Kiko Kostadinov has collaborated with ASICS again to produce the GEL-DELVA. This is the third collaboration between the Bulgarian fashion designer and the footwear company.

Boasting ASIC’s FLYTEFOAM technology, the GEL-DELVA also features the GEL-FUJI TRABUCO 7 upper, with GEL-KAYANO 24 heel tooling and a unique mesh. The premium material allows natural movement working in tandem with the wearer. The GEL-DELVA comes in 3 colours: Cement Black, Rosewood Brown and Pine Green.

ASICSTIGER x YMC

Another cute collab that has dropped is the one between ASICSTIGER and British subcultural innovators YMC (You Must Create). YMC’s Design Director, Fraser Moss, combined ‘70s colour palettes and fabrics with landscapes from his childhood as inspiration.

Features include an extra traction rugged outsole, a D-ring construction, a mountain logo and other outdoorsy representations. Coming in two colourways, sand/brown and gris blue/royal purple, the GEL-LYTE caters to all genders.

Nike x A-COLD-WALL

This capsule collection showcases inventive fabrics, like a technical Japanese nylon that softens with warmth and heat. The PU coating has also been stripped off each shoe, so that the ageing process will be accelerated. This collection follows the first Nike project of British designer, Samuel Ross. With a polished and glossy wire frame, the reworked Nike Zoom Vomero +5 subtly shifts colour. Over time, the colourways will change to a different colour, your white shoe will no longer be white, and your black shoe will no longer be black. With such unique materials, we’re certain that the collection will be living for a long, long time.

Nike React LW WR Mid ISPA

You might be wondering what ISPA means. It means: Improvise, Scavenge, Protect, Adapt. The ISPA program is led by Nike, and the Nike team focuses on improving interaction with the built environment.
