The Star Wars saga may come across as an interesting source of inspiration when it comes to clothes. Unless looking like a full-time sci-fi character is your thing (not judging). For the rest of us, besides The Rise of Skywalker film release in cinemas, we can also look forward to a fleet of collaborations this December. Despite it being the grand finale of an epic saga that we will surely miss, there will at least be plenty for us to remember our favourite characters by.

Quite possibly the single most hotly anticipated sneakers collaboration this year, the adidas x Star Wars final capsule collection pays homage to six of the most recognisable Star Wars characters of all time. In this closing instalment of the brand’s collaboration with the film franchise and coincidentally the saga itself, fans can expect representation of both light and dark sides of the Force in some of adidas’ most popular silhouettes: Nite Jogger, NMD and the Superstar.
First up, the Nite Jogger is reworked in R2-D2 and Stormtrooper colourways embellished with details such as crests and iconic quote imprints ardent fans will find familiar.
Next up, the NMD pays homage to Darth Vader and Yoda with a monochromatic style that highlights the bright accents on the heel and tongue associated with the characters. Look out for the super cute slogans on the heel that read “JOIN ME AND TOGETHER WE CAN RULE THE GALAXY” and “DO. OR DO NOT. THERE IS NO TRY.”
Exclusively for women, another NMD silhouette is reimagined to celebrate Rey and Princess Leia. These come replete with features and colourways unmistakable of the empowering women as well.

Vetements
Cult luxury label Vetements joined forces with Star Wars on a limited-edition 44-piece collection ahead of the massively hyped film release later this week. Fans of the satirical and shockingly disruptive Vetements can expect its classics updated with Star Wars accents. And if you were lucky enough to be in Moscow for the pop-up event in a parking garage on December 12, you will be amongst the first to get a look of the tightly secured collection. Otherwise, hang on tight, because the worldwide exclusive online release is coming soon.
The Vetements x Star Wars collection will be available online globally on December 16th.

Homegrown fashion label Elohim by Sabrina Goh is launching an interstellar 26-piece collection inspired by your favourite characters from a galaxy far, far away. The collection named Equipoise explores the recurring theme of balance and duality presented in the Star Wars films with symmetry and asymmetry fusing in a minimalistic silhouette.
Do look out for motifs of C-3PO, R2-D2, Darth Vader, Stormtroopers, and more in the monochromatic pieces where they are camouflaged in the linework. Vibrant pieces in the collection feature the characters’ iconic faces amongst brushstrokes or in a split-faced graphic polka-dot pattern that are visually hard to miss and almost too adorable.
Available for men and women, consider heading to the film’s first screening in the easy-to-love pieces because it’s only appropriate that everyone knows you wear your #1 Fan pride on your sleeve. And if anything else, don’t they make for great couple wear for a movie date too?
