For diehard fans of some of the most beloved Japanese anime ever, you’ll be glad to know that G-SHOCK has announced their latest shock-resistant watches in collaboration with ONE PIECE & Dragon Ball Z! Read on for more details.
G-SHOCK x ONE PIECE — GA-110JOP
Based on G-SHOCK’s renowned GA-110 model, this new GA-110JOP sports a familiar distinctively big watch case. And the entire watch comes adorned with a dramatic line illustration of Monkey D. Luffy — ONE PIECE’s main character, on a black case accented with a shade of red accurate to Luffy’s character costume in the pirate bounty/treasure hunt anime.

Other aesthetic features that pay homage to the character include Luffy’s signature straw hat at the 9 o’clock position and a ‘WANTED’ motif at 3 o’clock. True fans will also note that when the hour and minute hands point to 2 o’clock and 4 o’clock respectively, they’ll combine with the gold streaks detail on the watch face to form a golden X. Which represents Luffy’s cross-shaped scar, and expresses the character’s unstoppable journey to be the next pirate king in minute detail.

G-SHOCK x DRAGON BALL Z — GA-110JDB
This collaborated watch is likewise based on the aforementioned G-SHOCK big and bold GA-110 model too and features the worldview of Dragon Ball Z in a vibrant orange synonymous with the anime’s main character — Son Goku. You’ll find training scenes and other line illustrations and graphic elements throughout the watch case and band as well.

Other exciting watch aesthetic details include the four-star dragon ball motif at the 9 o’clock position, and a ‘Z’ motif at 3 o’clock. The dial, indicators and watch logo are also enhanced in gold, to make this watch an overall visual impact not to be easily forgotten.
