Swatch Teams Up With British Contemporary Art Duo For Their New Collection

Contemporary art takes many forms in present day. In the case of British artist duo, Joanne Tatham and Tom O’Sullivan, that means larger-than-life sculptures of a candy cane-coloured cat, the Loch Ness Monster, and what appears to be a cartoon rendition of the renowned Scream painting.

And if you’ve been following their exhibits from Coachella to the Venice Biennale, then you’ll be glad to know that they’ve launched limited-edition watches in collaboration with Swatch!

This Swatch x Joanne Tatham and Tom O’Sullivan watch collection encompasses four brilliantly-coloured and varied watch designs rendered in Swatch’s signature plastic watch case with a silicone strap.

Inspired by some of their most brilliantly absurd artworks mentioned above, these watches are named DOES THE IT TICK, SERIOUS ACTION, INDIRECT EXCHANGE, and NECESSARY FOCUS, which transcend the promise of fun moments whenever you need to check the time.

Our favourite from this collection would have to be the INDIRECT EXCHANGE watch that features a dial illustrated with an astonished face of a red and white cat. Humorous, fun, and mood-lifting, there’s nothing we wouldn’t love more than something just like this.
