You couldn’t get more “CELINE” than this. Two of the house’s modern icons meet in this upcoming style, the Ava Triomphe, which borrows from the chic curved 90s silhouette of the Ava shoulder bag, now with the addition of a Triomphe flap for a bolder yet still-as-sleek touch.
The style made its debut during the Women’s Winter 2023 show, seen in two different finishes: smooth calfskin and Triomphe Canvas, the house’s classic monogram. Now, we know that there are in fact three shades of leather to cop — in black, tan and chestnut — as well as the Triomphe Canvas in tan and white.
Those who love CELINE’s “quiet luxury” minimalism would appreciate the timeless, clean silhouette of the Ava, rounded just so at the bottom as a modern take on the 90s shoulder bag style. Then again, the decorative Triomphe metallic plate serves up a tad more glam while showing off CELINE’s iconic signature logo, though done as sophisticated as possible so that it only exudes elegance and class.
