Dior Beauty’s beloved long-wearing Dior Forever routine gets another upgrade, in the form of new cushion foundations — and trust us, these are as beautiful as ever, both on the inside and outside. The latest Dior Forever cushions arrive in two finishes, either a no-transfer matte or hydrating glow, along with new customisable couture cases that take after iconic designs from the fashion side of the esteemed house.
Expect an even fresh feel, one that lasts for 24 hours on the skin. The new Dior Forever cushions are able to effectively even out the complexion and instantly blur imperfections, resulting in smooth, high-perfection coverage, whether you’re using this as base makeup, or for touch-ups throughout the day.
The skincare-makeup hybrid formula is composed of more than 25% water for that touch of freshness, while floral extracts ensure hydration and that our skin is cared for.
There are some differences depending on whether you’re opting for the matte or glow versions though. For the Dior Forever Cushion in matte, you’re looking at a velvety finish that’s then infused with wild pansy and rosehip extracts to keep skin comfortable and reduce the look of pores.
Those who prefer a glow finish can expect a dewy veil of light, along with the same wild pansy extract to preserve skin hydration. Dior has also introduced three new hues for the Dior Forever Skin Glow Cushion, in order to suit Asian skin tones.
Furthermore, new sponges with a slanted edge ensure more precise application since they’re able to hug one’s facial contours during application.
Another new thing? The Dior Forever cushion cases are now more customisable. You may now select the couture case of your choice, then clip in the foundation refill in your shade and chosen finish. The cases themselves have been redesigned, available in the following formats:
- Embroidered Cannage, a subtly embroidered fabric evoking the iconic Lady D-Lite handbag for refined and feminine elegance.
- Vinyle Cannage: an ultra-shiny vinyl, symbolising glow in reference to the legendary Lady Dior design.
