Raffles City Singapore Gets More Exciting Than Ever With A New Future/Forward Campaign

We’ll say this — Raffles City‘s recent revamp has got to be one of the most refreshing mall upgrades in the past few years, the glow-up of glow-ups, if you will. It’s the location of choice for luxe beauty brands such as Givenchy Beauty and Diptyque, who’ve opened their first flagship boutiques in Singapore, as well as the site for Sephora’s first ‘Store of the Future’ concept in Asia.

Just as well, fresh, young fashion labels, such as & Other Stories and sports retailer Sun & Sand Sports, have set up generously-sized stores, while there’s even a new wing that houses home & lifestyle brands, including Sunday Bedding, Qoltured by FortyTwo, and Spanish brand KAVE Home. This diverse mix of tenants and new-to-market brands and concepts have certainly bolstered the mall’s fresh and exciting new look.

Raffles City’s Future/Forward Campaign

Close to one year later, Raffles City is embarking on a campaign that aims to further establish the mall as a luxury shopping destination.

Happening now till 31 August 2023, the ‘Future/Forward’ campaign makes way for design and lifestyle spaces around the mall, which debut innovative activations that not only showcase the latest Fall/Winter 2023 trends, but also use digital technology to subvert our expectations of a typical mall display.

From a fragrance bar to a shoppable window of digitally-rendered products, we take a look at some of these new installations and the exciting promotions that come along with them, as well as some of the key stores that make Raffles City a standout in Singapore’s retail scene.

1. Welcome To Future Of City: Shop The Look

This curious mirrored display is unmissable the moment you enter Raffles City, and certainly requires closer inspection. Step in and take a look, you’re witnessing a unique display of digitally-rendered products set against a futuristic landscape, featuring items from popular brands including & Other Stories, Acqua di Parma, Diptyque, BAO BAO ISSEY MIYAKE, Montblanc, Sun & Sand Sports, Tommy Hilfiger and more.

Their latest new-season goods have been 3D-scanned and uploaded here, and as visitors to the mall, we get to shop the products on the spot. Simply scan the QR code to learn more and redeem a special eVoucher to shop the products. Welcome to the future, indeed!

The first 500 shoppers with the code and a minimum spend of $500 in a single receipt at participating brands will receive $50 eCapitaVoucher.

2. Pop Up Vanity Fair: Raffles City Fragrance Bar

For all you fragrance lovers, consider this the best way to get acquainted with new and unexpected scents. The Fragrance Bar pop-up is essentially a scent discovery bar where an expert will guide you to find your ideal scent, based on the vibe you’re feeling that day. You’ll be taken through a journey of signature fragrances from a wide range of beauty brands available at Raffles City, including Acqua di Parma, Givenchy, Guerlain, Gucci, and Jo Malone London.

This luxurious experience is available to shoppers who spend a minimum of $200 at Raffles City in a day, where they can then walk away with a miniature scent of their choice, a bottle of drink from Tipsy Flamingo, and a $10 eVoucher to spend at participating beauty brands. Note that redemptions are only  available from Fridays to Sundays, and limited to the first 1,000 redemptions.

3. FASHION: The Runway

Trust us, this is no static installation. In neon plexiglass and with constantly-rotating displays, including what reminds us of a revolving closet, the clothes, bags, shoes, accessories and other fashion picks are visual treats, and definitely alluring to passers-by. The showcase is also making a statement with its choice of progressive styles, whether via genderless fashion or apparel with creative silhouettes, while on-trend brands such as ECCO, Calvin Klein, COS, Kate Spade New York and more are prominently displayed.

What’s more, the first 50 shoppers with a cumulative spend of $5,000 (exclusions apply) stand to receive a $500 eCapitaVoucher. On top of that, one lucky shopper stands to win 100% cashback in eCapitaVouchers for all purchases at Raffles City during the campaign period!

Store Spotlight

Diptyque

The Diptyque boutique at Raffles City is surely an extension of their original store in Paris, with French-style mouldings, a green-lacquered facade and a custom-made Diptyque mosaic right at the entrance, though you can just as well say that it’s an extension of a home — a dream one. This Singapore boutique is fitted to look like an apartment, complete with lounge areas, a central fireplace, as well as shelves and drawers filled with scented candles, their signature fragrances, body care products, and more; local touches such as rattan panelling and colonial-style furniture from local Studio Kallang also make the cut, making this flagship boutique unique to its Asian locale.

Tommy Hilfiger

The recent opening of the TOMMY HILFIGER store earlier in June is a testament to their enduring all-American codes that blend heritage and preppy varsity styles. We love that this is a warm and inviting space, complete with a mix of new and old-world charms such as oak flooring paired with minimalist wall bays; things are also kept quirky with greenery, cosy furnishings of red and navy, and colourful art that introduce the premium lifestyle brand as both classic and contemporary. New-in at this Singapore store is also the Disney x Tommy collection, where we see Mickey and friends on preppy and archival TOMMY HILFIGER classics.

Givenchy Beauty

French luxury beauty house, Givenchy Beauty, opened their first-ever flagship boutique to much fanfare in November last year, and till today, the sleek store displays that hold their range of sophisticated fragrances, makeup, and skincare products look as fresh as ever. This is also where you’ll want to be to shop boutique-exclusive products, including the La Collection Particulière of premium couture fragrances, and Le Soin Noir, their premium skincare range. You may also enjoy complimentary skincare consultations and makeup touch-up services.
