As far as exclusive Korean luxury fashion drops go, this latest collaboration announced between global K-Pop star G-Dragon and Nike is as confidential as it gets. Save for these couple of teaser images, that is.
Coined the “Para-Noise Part 2,” this secretive limited-edition Nike Air Force 1 sneaker features a metallic painted skin over its premium leather upper, meant to supposedly peel apart from wear to reveal an original artwork by G-Dragon for his PEACEMINUSONE fashion/art label, in a similar fashion to its predecessor — the “Para-Noise Part 1” released in November last year.
The sneaker also features Nike’s signature Swoosh logo in black grained leather, PEACEMINUSONE’s daisy emblem with a missing petal embroidered on the sneaker’s tongue, and a black sole decorated with strokes of silver paint.
While the images may have unveiled what these sure-to-sellout sneakers will look like, the finer details, such as what the metallic painted coating is concealing underneath — if anything at all — remains a mystery. Ditto for any information on its price, release date, and local availability from official sources.
So if you’re keen on getting your hands on a pair of these “Para-Noise Part 2” sneakers, then you’ll just have to watch this space for now.
The PEACEMINUSONE x Nike Air Force 1 “Para-Noise Part 2” (Price TBA) will be available from the later months of 2020.
