Mother’s day is coming up on May 10th, and while there’s nothing a mother loves more than her children, a sweet treat will never fail to make her day. While you might not be able to take your mum out for dessert, there are plenty of online delivery options to choose from to pamper your mom with at home.

The Korean bakery has plenty of options to choose from, and mum will definitely be happy, no matter what you pick. Our go-to option would be their signature Fresh Cream Cake ($52) — you can’t go wrong with a light vanilla sponge cake topped with whipped cream and berries! A more budget-friendly option would be the Dear Mom Cake ($12), a mini cheesecake that your mum can have all to herself. It is her special day after all! If cakes aren’t really your mum’s thing, Paris Baguette also has sweet macarons ($9 for 4), available in various flavours.

Luna SG
With a simple but unique selection, LUNA Singapore has cakes the whole family can enjoy. While orders can be made for whole cakes, there is also the option to order per slice — we want to try every single one. While you’re usually the apple of mum’s eye, their Solero Apple ($8.50) might replace you for a day. Within a delicately made white chocolate apple, you’ll find light vanilla sponge along with zesty lime, green apple and vanilla mousse.
If your mum has more traditional tastes, try out the Orh Nee Cake ($8/slice, $80/whole cake) — vanilla sponge layered with yam ginko paste and yam cubes, topped with coconut cream, desiccated coconut and white chocolate pearls. The Mango Passionfruit cake ($8/slice, $80/whole cake) is also a great option — the age-old flavour pairing never seems to disappoint.

For mums who enjoy novelty desserts, Little Nothings is your best bet. The homegrown Jar Cake shop provides exactly what it sounds like — cake in a jar. Each mason jar is filled to the brim with delectable cakes, topped with oreos, sprinkles, chocolate and more, depending on which flavour you go for!
While typical flavours like Red Velvet, Sea Salt Caramel and Matcha are available, they also have colourful Unicorn and Rainbow jar cakes — it’ll be hard to resist getting one of everything! Customisation is also available on request, so you can order a unique creation you know your mum will love.

Can’t make up your mind on what to get for mum? Go back to the basics with Awfully Chocolate’s signature All Chocolate Cake (from $36). A decadent chocolate cake enveloped by creamy, luscious chocolate? Who could say no to that? Go with the traditional gift of a box of chocolates, but with atypical flavours. Their artisanal dark chocolate bonbons (from $21/box) are beautiful to look at, and also exquisitely flavoured. With flavours such as White Chocolate Rose Tea, Matcha Strawberry and Toffee Sea Salt, all encased within a 66% dark chocolate shell, take your pick and curate a box your mum will love.
