Following the unique creation of the toilet-roll inspired cake and masked buns that were created during the Circuit Breaker, BreadTalk has launched a new rainbow-inspired collection of bread, buns and a cake to commemorate Singapore entering into Phase Two of its Circuit Breaker exit.
Inspired by the multiple rainbows spotted recently across the Singapore skies, the rainbow collection features three baked delights — a colourful bun, a vanilla chiffon cake with a rainbow arch, and a multi-coloured toast.
Rainbow Joy (1 for $2, 6 for $10) is a bun made out of colourful dough that uses natural fruit and vegetable extracts such as red dragon fruit, spinach, beetroot, carrot and purple sweet potato to achieve its colours. The buns are available in four different flavours namely Char Siew, Pumpkin Walnut, Chocolate, and salted Egg Lava.
Featuring a rainbow arch topping and a layer of blue-white cream reminiscent of the blue sky, Rainbow Bliss ($25.80) is a four-inch-sized vanilla chiffon cake packed full of texture and flavours, which includes the raspberry rose coulis, mango pineapple coulis and matcha ganache that is sandwiched between vanilla white chocolate cream and strawberry cream.
Inspired by the recent spotting of “paddle-pop” like skies in Singapore, Rainbow Delight (8 for $4.50) is a multi-coloured toast that contains no artificial colours and is made using the same kind of natural fruit and vegetable extracts as their colourful bun.
The rainbow-inspired bakery collection is available at all BreadTalk outlets islandwide and for delivery on the BreadTalk e-store. Do note that the Rainbow Bliss is not available at BreadTalk Nex, Jurong Point, Singapore Cruise Centre and United Square. For a list of BreadTalk outlets, click here.
