This is a PSA for all you shopaholics out there: it’s time to roll your sleeves up and whip out your credit cards — that time of the year is here and your shopping carts are about to get filled!

Alibaba’s 11.11 Global Shopping Festival

Starting with a bang, we have deals from Alibaba’s Taobao Marketplace and Tmall! It all began with Alibaba who introduced Singles’ Day deals which became a large-scale annual event other brands have began emulating — good for us!

Alibaba takes 11.11 to a whole new level with offline events to commemorate the highly-anticipated annual shopping festival:

Singapore shoppers can now participate in the annual 11.11 Countdown Gala the night before. This year’s show is co-produced by Alibaba’s video-streaming platform Youku and Zhejiang Television and will broadcast exclusively in Singapore on Hub E City (Starhub TV Channel 111/825) at 7:30pm. Broadcasted live from Shanghai, you can catch performances and appearances by well-known celebrities such as Taylor Swift, G.E.M. and Kana Hanazawa and engage in activities on stage and grab deals as low as RMB1 throughout the show on the Taobao app.

Pop by the Taobao Store by Virmall for an egg hunt between 1 and 11 November. Mysterious eggs are hidden around the stores with QR codes embedded in them that will direct visitors to the Taobao app for a surprise. You will also get to enjoy up to 70% off on selected products in-store.
