Converse’s Latest Chuck 70 Comes With A Subtle Colourful Twist

Converse’s rainbow collection certainly brightened our year, but some may prefer a more subtle way to rock the rainbow. Featuring multicoloured seams, their latest edition of the Chuck 70 adds a touch of colour to the classic silhouette.

The Layers Chuck 70 is available in two colourways, featuring a white and black base respectively. Crafted with premium canvas, these high-tops feature stacked seams which seem to blend into the white base, causing an almost 3D effect, while the stitching pops when matched with the darker alternative.

Both pairs also feature colourful, striped heels and more stacked colours under the signature All-Star badge, once again providing a 3D look that makes it seem like there are layers of material under the logo. The same stripes are also seen right above the canvas toe cap, a softer alternative to the typical rubber version we’re used to seeing.

On top of the off-white midsoles and black heel badges, the two pairs also come with two pairs of laces each — the double laced look looks perfect when paired with the colourful stitching on each sneaker.
