The LEGO Botanical Collection — a Bonsai Tree and Flower Bouquet That Will Last Forever, and Made from Plant-Based Plastic

If you don’t have green thumbs but fancy a lovely bouquet of flowers on your table, this might be the answer for you. LEGO has a new Botanical collection, which includes a Bonsai Tree and Flower Bouquet. Both sets are recommended for 18+ and are marketed at adults because of the intricate builds, decorative theme, and the stress-relieving benefit of the activity. Of note, the collection has a number of elements made from plant-based plastic, produced using sustainably-sourced sugarcane.

The Bonsai Tree has 878 pieces, stands at 18cm high, and allows the builder to choose from green leaves or pink cherry blossoms. It’s a complete set with a rectangular pot and a slatted wood-effect LEGO stand, and look closely and you’ll notice the little frogs that make up each blossom.

The Flower Bouquet is a 756-piece set that features designs based on real flowers including snapdragons, roses, poppies, asters, daisies and different grasses, and can be designed to be over 36cm high. They can be arranged in a bouquet in any number of ways and work best in glass jars and vases so you can showcase the entire LEGO stem.

LEGO Bonsai Tree and Flower Bouquet, $79.90 Each. Both sets are available from 4 January 2021 at LEGO certified stores, the LEGO Official store on Lazada, SHOPEE and Amazon, as well as major retailers and department stores island-wide.
